I want to share one of them, perhaps later I will give other quotes. Here is one of Yaskacharya\u2019s works with my comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b\u0938\u0941\u0937\u0941\u092e\u094d\u0923\u0903 \u0938\u0942\u0930\u094d\u092f\u0930\u0936\u094d\u092e\u093f\u0936\u094d\u091a\u0928\u094d\u0926\u094d\u0930\u092e\u093e \u0917\u0928\u094d\u0927\u0930\u094d\u0935\u0903\u0964 (<em>Yajurveda, \u015bloka<\/em> 18.40)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Moon is a Gandharva, representing the rays of the auspicious (su\u1e63um\u1e47\u0101) Sun (S\u016brya).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0907\u0924\u094d\u092f\u092a\u093f \u0928\u093f\u0917\u092e\u094b \u092d\u0935\u0924\u093f \u0964 \u0938\u094b\u093d\u092a\u093f \u0917\u094c\u0930\u0941\u091a\u094d\u092f\u0924\u0947\u0964<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Following is also in the Vedic scriptures: It (light) is also called \u201cGo\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;\u0905\u0924\u094d\u0930\u093e\u0939 \u0917\u094b\u0930\u092e\u0928\u094d\u0935\u0924&#8221; \u0907\u0924\u093f \u0924\u0926\u094d \u0909\u092a\u0930\u093f\u0937\u094d\u091f\u093e\u0926\u094d \u0935\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0916\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0938\u094d\u092f\u093e\u092e\u0903\u0964<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This will also be discussed further \u201catr\u0101ha goramanvata\u201d (quote from Rigveda 1.84.15)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0938\u0930\u094d\u0935\u0947\u093d\u092a\u093f \u0930\u0936\u094d\u092e\u092f\u0903 \u0917\u093e\u0935\u0903 \u0909\u091a\u094d\u092f\u0928\u094d\u0924\u0947\u0964<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Also, all rays of light are called &#8220;Go&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And so, in etymology from the <em>Vedas<\/em> we get that \u201c<em>Go<\/em>\u201d or \u201c<em>Gau<\/em>\u201d is light or rays of light, and here there is a reference to the <em>Yajurveda<\/em>, where mentioned the name of <em>su\u1e63um\u1e47\u0101<\/em>, which in <em>N\u0101th<\/em>&#8211;<em>yoga<\/em> and <em>Tantrism<\/em> is used as the name of the main channel in our body. I believe that the mention of <em>S\u016brya<\/em> and <em>Chandra<\/em> is not accidental here, which in <em>N\u0101th<\/em>&#8211;<em>yoga<\/em> are further used as images of the <em>i\u1e0da<\/em> and <em>pi\u1e45gala<\/em> channels surrounding the <em>su\u1e63um\u1e47\u0101<\/em> channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The complete <em>\u015bloka<\/em> of the <em>Rigveda<\/em> quoted by Yaska as following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0905\u0924\u094d\u0930\u093e\u0939\u0952 \u0917\u094b\u0930\u0951\u092e\u0928\u094d\u0935\u0924\u0952 \u0928\u093e\u092e\u0952 \u0924\u094d\u0935\u0937\u094d\u091f\u0941\u0951\u0930\u092a\u0940\u0952\u091a\u094d\u092f\u0951\u092e\u094d\u0964<br>\u0907\u0952\u0924\u094d\u0925\u093e \u091a\u0952\u0928\u094d\u0926\u094d\u0930\u092e\u0951\u0938\u094b \u0917\u0943\u0952\u0939\u0947 \u0965<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>In this world, they (\u1e5b\u1e63i) perceived the beautiful rays of the Sun in this way in the house of the Moon.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In that way, we are talking here about a certain concentration of light, accumulation between the Sun and the Moon, which are called \u201c<em>Go<\/em>\u201d. They are collected, that indicates on their protection (<em>rak\u1e63a\u1e47a<\/em>), i.e. what we know as \u201c<em>tapasya<\/em>\u201d, the generation of internal light or fire within. This reflects the essence of the practices of <em>Gorak\u1e63an\u0101tha<\/em>. The <em>N\u0101thas<\/em> also associate <em>Patra Devat\u0101<\/em> (Deity in the form of a vessel) with him. For example, we find similar ideas in Tantrism or even Kabbalah, about receiving or accumulating light in oneself (in the body). Light is also a reflection, an \u201cimprint\u201d, called <em>mudr\u0101<\/em>. Thus, the earrings of the <em>N\u0101thas<\/em>, threaded into the space of the ears, are also symbols of the Sun and Moon in space, they are also called \u201c<em>mudr\u0101<\/em>\u201d. This term is from the root &#8220;<em>mud<\/em>&#8221; \u2013 means &#8220;mixing&#8221;, the merging of higher consciousness and matter or spirit, which gives life and form to matter. The form is then given a meaning or mission in this world and becomes a form of life. Thus, <em>Gorak\u1e63an\u0101tha<\/em> is a symbol of life, as opposed to death (<em>m\u1e5bita<\/em>), he is a symbol of immortality \u201c<em>am\u1e5bta<\/em>\u201d, the basis of which lies in the pure light of spirit (<em>\u0100tman<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the above it follows that <em>Gorak\u1e63an\u0101tha&#8217;s<\/em> practices are aimed at the central channel (<em>su\u1e63um\u1e47\u0101<\/em>) in our body, this is the gateway to the world of spirit and immortality, to the collecting together (<em>sam\u0101dhi<\/em>) of consciousness and pranas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Definitions of the Gorak\u1e63an\u0101tha&#8217;s name sometimes contain many references to its etymology, especially to the term &#8220;Go&#8220;.
