{"id":1029,"date":"2024-10-23T14:47:36","date_gmt":"2024-10-23T14:47:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/matsyendranatha.com\/?p=1029"},"modified":"2024-10-23T14:49:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-23T14:49:14","slug":"the-main-meaning-of-ku%e1%b9%87%e1%b8%8dalas-among-nathas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/matsyendranatha.com\/?p=1029","title":{"rendered":"The main meaning of Ku\u1e47\u1e0dalas among N\u0101thas."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When speaking about emptiness (<em>\u015b\u016bnya<\/em>), the very first thing that comes to mind in connection with the <em>N\u0101thas<\/em> is the <em>\u015blokas<\/em> from the <em>Siddha-siddh\u0101nta-paddhati<\/em> (<em>Upade\u015ba<\/em> 6, <em>\u015aloka<\/em> 9):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u091a\u093f\u0924\u094d\u092a\u094d\u0930\u0915\u093e\u0936\u092a\u0930\u093e\u0928\u0928\u094d\u0926\u094c \u092f\u0938\u094d\u092f \u0935\u0948 \u0915\u0941\u0923\u094d\u0921\u0932\u0926\u094d\u0935\u092f\u092e\u094d\u0964<br><br><em>That whose two ku\u1e47\u1e0dalas are the light of consciousness and the supreme bliss, whose rosary is the calmness of the gaze (immersed in the \u0100tman), is called avadh\u016bta.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is about the earrings, which are often called \u201c<em>ku\u1e47\u1e0dala<\/em>, <em>dar\u015bana<\/em>, <em>mudr\u0101<\/em>\u201d, are spoken of as the light of the highest consciousness (<em>citprak\u0101\u015ba<\/em>) and the highest bliss (<em>par\u0101nanda<\/em>). It can be said that out of 36 tattvas of <em>\u015aivadar\u015bana<\/em>, these are the two highest principles of <em>Cit\u015bakti<\/em> or <em>Prak\u0101\u015ba<\/em> (<em>\u015aiv<\/em>a) and <em>\u0100nanda<\/em> <em>\u015aakti<\/em> (<em>Vimar\u015ba<\/em> or <em>\u015aakti<\/em>, reflecting the greatness of <em>\u015aiva<\/em>). Judging by the <em>mantra<\/em> associated with the <em>ku\u1e47\u1e0dalas<\/em> of the <em>N\u0101thas<\/em>, the power of space, <em>khecar\u012b<\/em> or the heavenly power (spatial) and the earthly <em>bh\u016bcar\u012b<\/em> are mentioned there. <em>Mudr\u0101<\/em> in one of the interpretations from the basis &#8220;<em>mud<\/em>&#8221; &#8211; &#8216;to mix,&#8217; &#8216;to connect,&#8217; i.e. that which unites the main polarities. This can be the fusion of <em>japa<\/em> and <em>ajapa<\/em>, <em>pr\u0101\u1e47a<\/em> and <em>\u0101pa\u1e47a<\/em>, sun and moon, <em>n\u0101da<\/em> (vibration) and <em>an<em>\u0101<\/em>da<\/em> (silence), <em>\u015aiva<\/em> and <em>\u015aakti<\/em>, <em><em>\u015b<\/em>unya<\/em> (emptiness) and <em>p\u016br\u1e47at\u0101<\/em> (fullness, abundance) in oneself. In essence, this level of realisation implies the realisation of the fusion of the main polarities and being in a state above which there is nothing (<em>anuttara<\/em>). Here, of course, we are not talking about just a piercing, which even hippies can do for themselves, the value is only in the &#8220;piercing&#8221;, &#8220;absorption&#8221; of the basic elements in each other. Such a <em>yogi<\/em>, right in the place where he is, can gain knowledge of everything that is in the &#8220;<em>brahm\u0101\u1e47\u1e0da<\/em>&#8221; (macrocosm). Physically, <em>ku\u1e47\u1e0dalas<\/em> can be made of different materials, they can symbolise alchemical principles (internal alchemy), but this is already beyond the scope of a short explanation.
