She began the tantra by asking for enlightenment on a number of issues. From <\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u015bloka<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> 24 to <\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u015bloka<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> 138 the god reveals 112 methods for reaching fullness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">This final verse, in fact a half line, gives the conclusion to the whole tantra. He has enlightened her, and she is filled with bliss (<\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u0101nandit\u0101<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">). \u00a0She embraces him, merges (<\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">lagn\u0101<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">) into him at his throat (<\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">ka\u1e47\u1e6dhe<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">), precisely at the place from which all these words have sprung. The genitive form \u2018of \u015aiva\u2019 (<\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u015bivasya<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">) can have two meanings. One is \u2018 at the throat (<\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">ka\u1e47\u1e6dhe<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">) of \u015aiva.\u2019 Words spring from his throat and now she joins herself to his throat\u00a0 Words have been the means of union. The other, that the goddess is \u2018of \u015aiva\u2019, she belongs to him, is identified with him. She had been separated from him by her doubts and ignorance and now she is one with him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">There is a progressing, grammatically, from objects \u2013 the words spoken (<\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">ityuktva<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">) \u2013 to the goddess (<\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">devi<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">), and then to the god (<\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u015bivasya<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">). The three dimensions of reality \u2013 words, \u00a0Dev\u012b and \u015aiva \u2013 are one. It is the climax of the tantra.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">The <\/span><em style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u015bloka<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> finishes at the half line, as though to say that once the union of Dev\u012b and \u015aiva occurs, there an on-going profound eternal silence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">The purpose of the whole tantra is to arrive at the union of god and goddess.
