Speaking of R\u0101dh\u0101<\/em>, we cannot leave out her \u015baktim\u0101n<\/em> \u2014 K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em>. As you know, a number of Tantras<\/em> correlate K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em> with K\u0101l\u012b<\/em>, who is manifested through him. However, Tantras<\/em> are an immense ocean of the most diverse possibilities, multidimensional perception of apparently one and the same phenomenon. So for example, according to the Tantra-r\u0101ja-tantra<\/em> (34\/11), the Goddess Lalit\u0101 Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em> is also manifested through K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em>:<\/p>\n

Sometimes (kad\u0101cit) the primordial (\u0101dy\u0101) Lalit\u0101 appears in the masculine form of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a (pu\u1e43r\u016bp\u0101 k\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47avigrah\u0101).<\/em><\/p>\n

It may seem contradictory for those, who are used to dividing the\u00a0 <\/span>worshipping of Lalit\u0101<\/em> and K\u0101l\u012b<\/em> in a strict way, but K\u0101l\u012b<\/em>\u00a0 <\/span>could also be a part of \u015ar\u012bkula<\/em>. When through \u015ar\u012bkula<\/em> you obtain the experience of fullness, you come to the liberation from limitations of time, for which K\u0101l\u012b<\/em> is responsible. Therefore, she is also inseparable from Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em>. We can say that K\u0101makal\u0101<\/em> K\u0101l\u012b<\/em> (the highest form of K\u0101l\u012b<\/em>),\u00a0<\/span>worshiped in Urdhv\u0101mn\u0101ya<\/em> (of K\u0101l\u012b\u2013kula krama<\/em>), is most strongly associated with Tripura<\/em>. Or, we can consider Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em> itself as Rakta K\u0101l\u012b<\/em> (Red K\u0101l\u012b<\/em>). Thus, we can see one reality from different perspectives.<\/p>\n

The unity of \u015ar\u012b<\/em> and K\u0101l\u012b-kula<\/em> is\u00a0 <\/span>revealed in the story described in the kaula<\/em> text the R\u0101dh\u0101 Tantra<\/em>. In short, it describes a long story of how Vi\u1e63\u1e47u<\/em> with the blessings of Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em> is embodied in the form of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em>, and Lak\u1e63m\u012b<\/em> in the form of R\u0101dh\u0101r\u0101n\u012b<\/em> (in fact, she herself is considered as a manifestation of Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em>). They both worshiped K\u0101l\u012b<\/em> and also K\u0101m\u0101khya<\/em>, where K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em> invokes K\u0101l\u012b<\/em> into the R\u0101dh\u0101\u2019s<\/em> body. The first part of the R\u0101dh\u0101-tanra<\/em> describes the famous mantra<\/em> of Lalit\u0101 Pancada\u015b\u012b<\/em>, it also speaks of Ten Mah\u0101vidy\u0101s<\/em>, of which Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em> is the main one (tasm\u0101d da\u015basu vidy\u0101su pradh\u0101na\u1e43 tripur\u0101 par\u0101<\/em>). These Mah\u0101vidy\u0101s<\/em> are worshiped in a special way in \u015ar\u012byantra<\/em> by experienced practitioners. The<\/em> R\u0101dh\u0101 Tantra<\/em> speaks of her as giving realisation of the four puru\u1e63arthas<\/em> (dharm\u0101rthak\u0101mamok\u1e63ad\u0101yin\u012b<\/em>), and because of her worship in kaula-s\u0101dhana<\/em>, K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em> realised all siddhis<\/em>. We know many stories about the successes of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em>, and all His siddhis<\/em>, according to the R\u0101dh\u0101 Tantra<\/em>, were achieved through this up\u0101sana<\/em>. The text also frequently mentions\u00a0 <\/span>the term \u2018yoga<\/em>\u2019 in relation to tantric s\u0101dhana<\/em>; in the second part of the RT (\u015blokas<\/em> 3-4), the union of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em> and \u015aakti<\/em> (R\u0101dh\u0101<\/em>) is called \u015aakti Yoga<\/em>. The famous Hare K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a maha-mantra<\/em> can also be found in there. There is also a description of the preliminary practice of purification (kar\u1e47a-shuddhi<\/em>), the ability to purely hear the tantric<\/em> mantras<\/em> of Mah\u0101vidy\u0101<\/em>. Periodically, recommendations for contemplating sacred places in one\u2019s own body are given there (Ch. 5, \u015blokas<\/em> 11-12 or Ch. 14, \u015blokas<\/em> 1-2), for example, Govardhan<\/em> Hill<\/em> in sahasr\u0101ra<\/em>–cakra<\/em>, etc. It also refers to the kula-ku\u1e47\u1e0dalin\u012b<\/em> awakening through yoni-mudr\u0101<\/em> (Ch. 15 \/ 19-21). Apparently, the text speaks of yoni-mudr\u0101<\/em> as the body of the Goddess, rather than the technical practice of ha\u1e6dha-yoga<\/em> in the likeness of \u2018\u1e63a\u1e47mukhi\u2013mudr\u0101<\/em>\u2019. Although, for a long time, it is no secret that the essential elements of tantra are also connected with many practices of the well-known and popular ha\u1e6dha\u2013yoga<\/em>, the essence of which is currently understood by\u00a0 <\/span>a very small number\u00a0 <\/span>from millions of practitioners.<\/p>\n

From my point of view, Gaudiya Vai\u1e63\u1e47avism<\/em> was once influenced\u00a0 <\/span>exactly by v\u0101m\u0101c\u0101ra<\/em>, but in a Vai\u1e63\u1e47ava \u015aakti<\/em> format. In the\u00a0 <\/span>course of time, most likely, everything came down to formal substitutions (anukalpa<\/em>) and symbolism, so the doctrine became more refined.<\/p>\n

Today is the R\u0101dh\u0101\u1e63\u1e6dam\u012b<\/em> festival associated with \u015ar\u012b R\u0101dhika<\/em>, \u015aakti<\/em> of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em>.<\/p>\n
