Seeing how in the playing waters of the Haridra lake (Turmeric lake) in Saur\u0101\u1e63\u1e6dra (now Gujarat), Mother Bagal\u0101mukh\u012b appeared in the heart of the Goddess (Tripurasundar\u012b).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, the text says that heat (or light) emerged from \u015ar\u012bvidy\u0101<\/em> (Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em>) and from there spread everywhere, stopping the hurricane. This happened on the fourteenth lunar day (Caturda\u015b\u012b tithi<\/em>) connected with Tuesday when the sun was in Capricorn (Makara<\/em>), also on the night known as V\u012brar\u0101tri<\/em> (the heroic night).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bagal\u0101mukh\u012b<\/em><\/em> is considered as a part of \u015ar\u012bvidy\u0101<\/em> Tantra<\/em> and in her four-armed form she is in many ways identical to Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em>. There is also a story in the R\u0101dh\u0101 Tantra<\/em> about how Vi\u1e63\u1e47u<\/em> practiced tapasya<\/em> and could not get success in sadhan\u0101<\/em>, after which the Goddess \u015ar\u012b<\/em> (Tripura<\/em>) appeared to him and said that he need to manifest with her in Mathura, she would manifest in the form of R\u0101dhik\u0101<\/em>. And worshiping Kal\u012b<\/em> in her by the kaul\u0101<\/em>c\u0101<\/em>ra<\/em> methods, he, being K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em>, will reveal all his siddhis<\/em>. This happened because of the worshipping R\u0101dh\u0101<\/em> as Parak\u012bya<\/em>–\u015bakti<\/em>, Vi\u1e63\u1e47u<\/em> (K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em>) gained all success and destroyed many demons. The most interesting thing in all these stories is that the Goddess \u015ar\u012b<\/em> can be considered as Lak\u1e63m\u012b<\/em>, but she is also Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em>, and we know that \u015aiva<\/em> is Bhairava<\/em> of Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em>. Thus, based on the analysis of these stories, we see that Vi\u1e63\u1e47u<\/em> and \u015aiva<\/em> are one Deity \u2013\u2013 Harihara<\/em>. Also, Lak\u1e63m\u012b<\/em> and \u015ar\u012b<\/em>, who were worshiped by K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em>, may be Kal\u012b<\/em>, whom K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a<\/em> invoked in them. This wonderful story allows you to cover a lot. We also know that Bagal\u0101mukh\u012b<\/em><\/em> is a stambhin\u012b<\/em>–\u015bakti<\/em>, she can represent not only the power of Mah\u0101m\u1e5btyu\u00f1jaya<\/em>, but also the sthiti<\/em>–\u015bakti<\/em> of Vi\u1e63\u1e47u<\/em>. The S\u0101\u1e43khy\u0101yana Tantra<\/em> (Pa\u1e6dala<\/em> 35) describes Bagal\u0101mukh\u012b<\/em><\/em> as one who is revered as Kal\u012b<\/em> in the uttara<\/em> and urdhva<\/em> \u0101mn\u0101yas<\/em>. There is also a description of her as the one on the left side of which is Kal\u012b<\/em>, and on the right side is Tripurasundar\u012b<\/em>.
